Disingenuous Defined

"We need heroes," Jackson said. "And since we need them so badly, we've decided to race Curlin this year. We want to give the fans and the industry what we need."

Hope he tries grass, too. Wonder where the unveiling will take place. Donn would be a tough return, but he LOVES Gulfstream.

Curlin on the grass! I'd bet he'd be sensational on that surface as well. It is nice that we'll get to see him again in 2008 ...

I'm starting the campaign now...Jockey Club Gold Cup, Curlin vs. Rags to Riches, the re-match! :)

I don't see Curlin popping up in the Donn but do think he absolutely needs a prep race before heading to Dubai if they stick with that plan.

I'm sure Fair Grounds or Oaklawn would love it if Steve Asmussen supported one of his "base" tracks by running him at either location.

A Curlin-R2R rematch would be juicy for sure, but I think it would occur either in the Whitney or in the BC Classic, but the chances of both still racing by the time summer rolls around is about 20%, I'd say.
