Railbird is a blog devoted to thoroughbred horseracing news and handicapping maintained by Jessica Chapel, a New York-based web professional, handicapper, and occasional hotwalker. She is currently writing a book on America's greatest racehorses, to be published by Westholme, and at work on a new racing web site set to launch summer 2008. This site is a member of the Thoroughbred Bloggers Alliance, a network of horse racing blogs.
